A pause for the parasympathetic nervous system

An embodied practice to observe and release.

In a cacophony of noise and potential overwhelm, grief, anger or anxiety about the state of what is happening in and to our beautiful world, I invite us to pause, to rest, and allow the parasympathetic nervous system to soften away from being in a permanent mode of 'fight, flight or freeze.'  I encourage you to gift yourself this time, to reconnect with how you feel in your body in the present moment, observing where you could be holding emotions or tension, so that you may move out of this very slow and simple meditative practice with renewed energy for ourselves, those around us, and for working towards our common goal for the planet and its rising generations.
