We will face the fear and build courage to face climate breakdown.
We will find ways to listen and speak to all kinds of people about climate grief.
We will work towards holding sadness and hope in both hands.
We believe that facing this task is the beginning of finding livable solutions.
We will create space for difficult conversations on themes that are big but important.
We will come together to work with communities and other artists to create solutions we trust are out there, but which we don’t see yet.
We will challenge ourselves and others as to how we work together because the old ways have failed – the collective is the community and the community is us.
We will work to build playful, intuitive, useful responses and experiences which surprise, move and delight (as well as inform and provoke).
We will engage with interactive, immersive and new technology to both explore the theme of ecological grief and help us think of new futures.
We will work towards creating a new language and bring hope and empowerment to the topic of climate grief.
We declare our belief and faith in hope, truth, community, creativity and usefulness.
We will dare to be explorers rather than experts as we venture forwards.
